apt-get missing on latest download/install

Google your problem first. Check the Wiki. Read the existing threads. It's okay to "hijack" an existing thread, yes! If your problem is not yet covered, open a new thread. To get the quickest possible help, mention the exact release codename in your post (uname -a is a good idea, too). Due to the lack of crystal balls, attach the output of lspci -nnk if you encounter hardware problems.

apt-get missing on latest download/install

Unread post by mcbotha » Mon Aug 26, 2013 9:33 am

Hi,
I cannot install software due to apt-get missing.

This is on ISOs:
1. bbqlinux-2013.08.16-x86_64.iso
2. bbqlinux-2013.08.16-i686.iso

How do I install apt-get?

Tx

Go here to ask!
....you don't want my answer to this question. It works, but will probably end in your suicide. ;)

BBQ Linux is a cool distro based on Arch for Android developers.

LinuxBBQ can be sucked from here: http://sourceforge.net/projects/linuxbbq/
..gnutella..

//Yes, that's very true....
//....but if you REALLY want to put apt on it, wouldn't we be to "goto people?" :D

Edit: Ignore the above from me, I'm joking around (although I might be inspired to see what all it would take to make this happen, now.) The install .iso's listed by mcbotha are from BBQLinux, not LinuxBBQ. See machinebacon's post. My apologies for adding to original poster's confusion.

Apologies gentlemen, this newbie got LinuxBBQ and BBQLinux confused.
Thank you for the clarification.
