^ It not that we spurn on all mouses. It is just our opinion of why most of us do not like mouses and with the WM I am using it is 10x faster to use the keyboard rather than the mouse. But of course I use my mouse for GUI's such as this web browser :)

@elixir

I don't believe you - I think you are all closet mouse-ists - you probably use the WM just to minimise mouse-ish activities.

... also, I bet many of you have also said 'some of my best friends are mouses' at some stage.

Use the mouse whenever you feel like it is comfortable. Doesn't make much sense when typing, but it does make sense when clicking on links, for example :) Saying "I don't use the mouse" is like saying "I don't fart".

@4eyes

Everyone had a mouse as a best friend at some point. But you do not have to believe me. :) I never said I didn't use a mouse period, all I referenced too was coding and such, where I do not use a mouse much. I switch between my screens with Alt+(arrow keys) so I don't need to stop typing and start clicking.

You guys should detect the humor a bit more between the posts. Who the fuck cares if you both use the mouse, the keyboard, a stick or your dick. :D

No offence taken here - however, I do reserve the right to take offence in the future, its probably best we have separate forums for pro-mouses/anti-mouses - its the only way.

Otherwise we risk this kind of thing: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PZGkYW4b5I0

Edit: Damn Titan, I hit the edit button but you got it. ;)

2nd edit: No rudeness detected, I was just scared that you would begin to tear each other apart. ;)

@ivanovnegro: Nah I am no match for 4eyes. He would tear me apart. Wouldn't even be a competition for him.

@4eyes: I agree with you. We might even need to make a whole serperate forum for such a thing.

What the fuck are you guys doing? I take like one day off because I've got the swine-flu-monitor-lizard-aids (or whatever it is) and you're arguing about mouses and non-mouses?

This is unacceptable, so please choose a totally different argument from the following list:
emacs vs. vim
sysV vs. systemd
preemption vs. non-preemtive kernels (please use phrases like: "Really good for gaming" regularly in this one.)
i686pae vs x86_64 (and which one the BBQ should support)

Otherwise, terminals and editors. It's all about workflow, just like preferences to wm's is. HOW you use something is what determines its usefulness to you.
