True, i type faster when I can 'talk' error rate goes up too though, as anyone talking to me on IRC can testify 8)

I was around 57 wpm. A few mistakes. I took it like 3 times and was pretty consistently shitty each time. Best was 59 with 1 wrong word.
Oh well.

Thanks; I've started early on typewriters, but cut corners until I've found "type 101" in my local bookstore a few years back. :p Boring but well worth it.

Depends on the keyboard. I type faster on Thinkpad keyboards, mainly because there's the added perk of fondling the trackpoint clitoris every few seconds.

Jesus Christ Alad! I just hooked up my new (old) IBM Modular CANPOS model I picked up the other day, right off the bat I got 60 but with 3 wrong words, and I'm not quite used to these keys that are a tad bit smaller, but my mistake with this test is also backspacing and correcting instead of moving forward. Going to do it again later once I grow accustomed to this keyboard. I'm LOVING this keyboard so far though, literally 5 minutes after plugging it in. SO FUCKING LOUD!

For English:
I'm quite sure I'm much slower when it comes to Chinese, but I haven't tested it out.

You're at 140 WPM though... it's hard to improve from 100 onwards. :(
I should probably relearn touch typing, I haven't been able to utilise all 10 fingers yet (current average utilisation rate at 6-8)
