Congratulations, hmmm not an easy task, since there are so much to choose from :) I suggest that you explore something that are a little to the left and right of your normal bbq diet. I am doing that myself, so I do not get too stale ;)

Any Spring 2014 release would be good, just depends on what wm you like, or roll your own from da base.

hmm . . . i guess i should try something other than bakewell :D

I might do a nox and throw jwm on top. Sorry guys, I guess I'm not a tiler or hard core cli guy.

Looking forward to having a play with it. I guess it's a precurser to a netbook.

^ If you try a tiler, I suggest i3, it's very intuitive, easy keybindings, fast.

Yes I'll give that a try. I just realised that this thing doesn't have a touchpad, but one of those silly clitorus things which I don't like using - so a tiler makes a lot of sense.

By the sounds of it, everything works pretty much out of the box on these. This will make a pretty sweet light. portable and reasonably quick smash and grab machine for use at work.

Thanks for your recommendation.

Have you considered phunking up the very cool n00b ki11ah release? I am plyaing around with it in a vb at the moment, but will probably do a an install soon. Sort of forgot about it when it were fresh from the grill, picked it up and really like it.

@gurtid: no problem using Openbox, as long as you are aware that you are then officially a pussy (like myself) ;)

Ok, then I am officially a pussy, but since I like pussy it has a very good vibe about it ;)

^Yeah also a great choice, love it. Or you can install something very familiar and set them all up in virtual box, cheating on the partitioning :D

thanks for your suggestions guys. Was having a play with n00b killer and chicken wings and cookies yesterday. Hadn't considered Wuxbuntu . . . will look into it. Need to check out Puszi too.

At this stage it'll probably be n00b killer.

[oh edit] anyone had a play with hackedbox wm. It's blackbox unbloated - dead I guess.

Well, picked the laptop up yesterday and started stuffing around with a net install usb and ended up with this . . . it's openbox I'm afraid . . . pretty impressed with this little laptop. Coupla funky things going on with it but nothing major that I may or may not be able to sort out.

Anyway . . . scrot or it didn't happen . . . at least there's not a woman's bottom spread across the screen eh? :)
Conky will go eventually - just got it there to monitor stuff atm

I'm getting the hang of the clitoris thing. I think the secret is to not take your finger of it AT ALL when manipulation is occuring.
