So, I made a valid point :D

Finished the COL-BRA game and feel very relaxed about the Jerkmans' next opponent (the pretty Brazilians). The referees in both games sucked (not the whistle), absolute amateurs.

The referees suck every new WC more than before and that with all the new goal technology etc.

Most ridiculous thing is the shaving foam they use for free kicks - and then simply take 9 steps "here comes the wall". I mean, do they actually use a laser to measure the distance between wall and ball?

Don't know on balls or walls, but looking forward to Argentina vs Belgium tonight. :D

^ Indeed but I will be out, so I guess I will miss it unless where I will be they have a screen.

Well fuck, we lost. ._.

Still enjoyed the game, besides the annoying TV commentators of course. And it's 28 years since we last got in the quarter finals.

I just saw the last half and was bored to death, sorry.

Holland made it again without doing anything. :P

Now let's see who of the two boring teams (Netherlands vs Argentina) will win.

man, that match was nerve-wrecking. Costa Rica in total defensive mode, like a Christian father protecting his daughter's virginity. we got through well enough a bunch of times, but one ball on the sidepost and one on the topbar is just insane - a game destined for penalties. Van Gaal switched the keeper to one who is specialized in penalties, and tadaa. great. now Argentina, and after that, hopefully, my favorite final: Netherlands - Germany :)

How many more rounds are there?

EDIT: Ah, I looked it up. I do not know why I ask questions anymore haha

Justified question, Son, because some former tournaments (FIFA World Cup or UEFA Euro) had different modes, depending on the number of teams. It did not only mean that there were more groups in the first stage (after qualification) playing round robin, but also different elimination stages: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/History_of ... tournament

Kind of disappointed Belgium and Costa Rica didn't qualify to the next round

Scolari => a non creative, pragmatic, pass-every-ball-to-Neymar football ( Though now that Neymar gone, they will struggle against the Germans)

1-0 for ze Germans
rice no more.

Something tells me that Germany is going to win the cup this time, feel a bit sad for the few players that didn't score :D

I was not sure if two beers were already enough to see 0:5 on the screen after half an hour but it was real.

Let's hope for Argentina. :P Come on Messi, I want to see Argentina - Schland. You can see, I will never forgive Robben. :D Somebody of the defense has just to stand in front of the Argentinian goal because that is what Robben will do.
