Thank you! It's a very rare breed and almost unknown outside the Netherlands. They're sweet but stubborn as a mule :)

Toby and Ernie are good, from what i gather. saw them before i went to HK because my ex-wife brought them along to say goodbye. they have a new brother now, called Kai, a nice Chinese name, he's great too. Toby has issues with his back legs, muscles being fucked, not able to walk properly anymore. one assumes he's in some kind of pain but he takes it like a man, Shihtzu as he is, arrogant as fuck that little guy, doesn't show it. i still love them even though i don't see them anymore except on FB :)

I have had pet birds mostly parrots for 20 years now.

About two months ago I found a pigeon outside that was unsteady, needy, got him in and cared for him, he has recovered well. Here is the full thread in this regard:

A couple of weeks ago I lost one dear friend, the dog of my gf. It waa a mixture (Appenseller Sennen x Frisian Stabyhoun). Due the health problems of my gf, I was taking care of him when she was in the hospital etc. He was only 6 years old, but a cardiac faillure doesn't look at ages.
I miss him.

Willow Tree and I have been hanging out a lot the past couple of months.

Three and a half years ago, I discovered the grill over the summer and by the time snow was on the ground in the Carolinas, I would frequently be found on the netbook I am using now (1024 mb of RAM and still loving it!) next to this sweet pup.

We have each moved around quite a bit since then, but as we expect a heavy frost tonight, we bunker down together once again in the Carolinas with our favorite netbook and favorite libre/FOSS distro, excited about where our travels may take us tomorrow.

She is partially a Plott Hound, which is a type of Black Mouth cur, which is what Old Yeller was despite the hollywood actor (Mastiff/Lab) that played Old Yeller in the popular film.
