Ohh man the main article is really flawed. I don't like BSD either, but the obvious bias of the article is very, very profound and a number of things are just not true, and I've dealt with at very least OpenBSD regularly. It's not that great but it's also not that terrible. I can see someone using that for a desktop if they really wanted to.
