Tony Stark says Hello!

Unread post by stark » Sat Sep 27, 2014 9:20 pm

Hello everyone, my name is Stark, I'm a newbie here , to *nix and to coding.

I use crunchbang with i3wm as my main OS (using it for over a year) and i would really like to learn C so that i can play with dwm and other cool utilities. Also interested in emacs too!I may be annoying at times as i tend to ask too many questions so beware you have been warned ;)

Apart from that i would really like Thank all the people involved in FOSS from the bottom of my heart, you guys are really wonderful at what you do, i hope i can learn a thing or two from you people :D

EDIT: Current Desktop

hey Stark, welcome to the grill. be sure to check out the wiki and in particular shit like the bbq philosophy and useful ways of asking questions etc. the entire "First Time" category, to be honest. it will give you a good idea of how we deal with things here, and will help you learn :)

I realized that right after I posted, so edited it out. It was another i3 scrot with the same boxing style around current workspace.

Nice intro - welcome, and Miss Potts too ;)

^ Haha, I had little to add to that thread, only sheer force of luck, but that thread is locked gold.
