Intro: fatmac
Hi All,
Just tried BBQ yesterday & liked what I saw, so have registered & will try to help out on the forum, maybe the irc also.
I'm a long time Debian user, not a beginner but not an expert either.
Been using Linux since 1999, started with Slackware (Zipslack8) whilst still having W95. (Been MS free for quite a long time now.)
Presently I'm a Crunchbanger, but will dedicate a machine to BBQ in due course.

DECIDE wut it is you really want 2 do in the World, the 1 thing that'll (150 years from now) cause 'em to exclaim,
"He did something AMAZING." And then grab some Beer and go watch ESPN. That's enough self-delusional B***S*** for 1 day."

I don't seem to be able to login; not too fussed if I can't, just thought it would be cool to advertise the distro by using it.machinebacon wrote:fatmac, check your PM :) If you like I can remove the -bbq from your username, just let me know.

Just an update:
I'm in the forum as often as I can; other forums permitting.
I've been on irc a couple of times now.
AND I've installed Escargo onto my troublesome Acer AO722, & all is well. :)

Re: Intro: fatmac
Fatmac you are a very knowledgeable user it seems generally. Don't be shy if you want to contribute to the wiki. It would be very welcome and together we all develop it and help each other out.
...oh.
Re: Intro: fatmac
oh i might've misread something :)
this is a good strategy however, thanking people for wanting to contribute to the Wiki without them saying they would :D
