Are there no Russian churches in Bulgaria? I thought the Church of St Nicholas in Sofia is Russian Orthodox.

Yes, but isn't the Russian church I mentioned of a different design to the usual Bulgarian churches? http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Russian_Church,_Sofia
ie there are/is Russian Orthodox style churches in Bulgaria and not only Bulgarian Orthodox churches.

Here in Greece, there are only Greek Orthodox churches. (as far as I am aware)

This one is indeed Russian built by the Russian community of Bulgaria.
Btw, even in Greece you can find Russian/Bulgarian/Serbian churches or monasteries if you count Mount Athos to Greece even though the architecture is Byzantine as most churches of the Balkans. The exception are the Russians with the double crosses and very rounded onion domes.

Yeah, it is Germany and an easy one, Frauenkirche in Dresden.

It was bombed by the allies and completely destroyed. Very recently the reconstruction was finished and the church was re-inaugurated.

It is very hot there in summer and lately they had more than 40 °C. The whole complex is world cultural heritage.
