^ hahaha, looking through Unix tricks:
A fairly remarkable trick to play along these lines is to place
a file named README containing the text "README: No such file or
directory" in someone's directory, or in some public place.
This seems stupid and obvious, but there's something about it
that tends to get even real wizards extremely baffled and
exasperated until they finally figure it out.
:D
All statements are true in some sense, false in some sense, meaningless in some sense, true and false in some sense, true and meaningless in some sense, false and meaningless in some sense, and true and false and meaningless in some sense.

I respect the guy and his Emacs knowledge, but here just misses the point and somehow I am really happy he doesn't get it.

Statement:
Try the following workflow for a week.
[...]
(i'm assuming you are on a full-sized keyboard, not laptop, as you shouldn't type on laptop keys for long periods.)
[...]
if you don't know how to set keys for items i didn't give explicit instruction, see: /random links/

Thing is: he tried xmonad, didn't like it cause it couldn't find no use in tiling windows. So what? As if every tiler is the same. Come on, don't tile, change wm, do whatever you want. Writing all those bullshits just for what purpose? Did the maker of ratpoison steal your candies? Bah.

His basic problem is this:
All modifier keys are used up in my emacs for many purposes, including inserting math symbols.
Whatever. That is his problem, not mine. He also says this:
Complete esoteric set of keys you need to memorize just for the tiling-window mechanism.
um... excuse me but your emacs keybinds are not a "complete esoteric set of keys you need to memorize"?

He used xmonad for an hour, and thinks he knows everything. Asshole. Ignore.

If one window manager worked perfectly for everything and everyone, there would be only one window manager.

^ oh yes. Plus, I use ratpoison and Emacs and I have never ever had any problems with keybindings. So yep, his problem, not mine. :)

http://m.seattlepi.com/local/article/Pr ... 749225.php

"A 28-year-old woman accused of breaking into a West Seattle man’s home and forcing herself on him as he slept has been charged with rape."

This wouldn't be a problem per se, but

"The man demanded Gilman get off of him, but she refused and told him to be quiet, the detective said. According to charging papers, he was able to work his way out from under the 240-pound woman and push her out of the apartment."

So this already qualifies as rape? Ridiculous.

Paul Smith is an extraordinary man that creates incredible works of art using a typewriter. Unfortunately, he was born with cerebral palsy, a severe disability which affects his motor abilities and strength. In his Oregon nursing, he types away using one finger tirelessly. Once you see what he’s creating you’ll notice his artistic abilities are very unique.
Great guy.
