Sorry, maybe I'm the only one who will think this is funny but can you imagine if you read on DistroWatch about LinuxBBQ's newest release "Alabama Hot Pocket"?

Code: Select all

Julius Hader has announced the release of LinuxBBQ Alabama Hot Pocket, a small Debian-Sid based distribution that uses spectrwm as the window manager."LinuxBBQ is proud to announce the immediate availability of 'Alabama Hot Pocket', that features spectrwm, which is on the light side in resource usage and is a small, dynamic tiling window manager. Alabama Hot Pocket runs smoothly on any IBM-compatible PC with at least 256 MB of RAM. The ISO image weighs in at 378 MB, so it can be put on a small USB stick or on CD. As an extra, there are framebuffer, tmux and TTY sessions included."
LOL! Don't be a turd and take a dip into Alabama Hot Pocket while it's still steaming hot!

^ this is how we got DW to ignore us. it was a brilliant move, in retrospect. the BBQ is "too childish" :D

as for the pissing-fetish and all that: i don't claim to fully understand it (it has to do with dominance/submission and tension/release), but seeing people's weird fetishes always reminds me of how different people are. i always found this to be one of the most eye-opening examples of "some people do things completely different from myself":

Congratulations Simon on surpassing 1000 posts! Maybe you'll get a special LinuxBBQ enema and Swedish Penis Enlarger (sorry, watched Austin Powers with my kids earlier). ;)

Heh, just wondered if any of the casinos neighboring Defcon worry about hackers spending their "coffee break" by the slot machines ;D
One day I will visit Defcon, btw has any one here been to the convention?

I feel like smoocon and others are more authentic since DefCon went mainstream.

damn that rabbithole.

reminds me of Sasha Grey on Tyra Banks show:
1. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BxUq_zzvAaA
2. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mYs2YfNlRBg

3 & 4 can be found too but are less about her. anyway, those videos really pissed me off in how prejudiced they are. and looking for them i actually found a video of Sasha explaining how things went down on that show: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5OGIpmqxSjQ

damn anti-porn people. twisting narratives to fit their own beliefs. sure, porn addiction exists, and sure, i believe that if you grow up watching only porn, you will obviously have no idea about how actual sex works. however, the solution to this is not to be anti-porn. the solution is to fucking educate the damn kids. you're letting porn handle sex education now because it is considered too taboo to talk about. idiots.

/rant.

porn isn't actual sex? man that's like saying condensed milk isn't milk.... :) just kidding

That's a very thoughtful opinion rho, anti-porn stuff just didn't work. Case studies: Arab countries, India, my country....

Would you rather be with a person who
[ ] always watches porn
[ ] never ever watched porn and never will

tick for happiness.
