Right now I have 12 pinned. Only god knows how many tabs I have open.
When I had weak hardware I did not have pinned tabs at all and the maximum was maybe 8 tabs and I always closed everything, I also switched the laptop off.
Now everything stays how it is and if the browser gets closed it remembers the last state. Uptime is 32 days and something. I have enough horse power on this old diamond.

Read an article about it a couple of days ago on a local news site and found it very interesting. Best guess is that there probably is a race going on who to be the first to break this on a global scale on www.
