"Dr Who - not so good any more"

^ it's been going for about a hundred years now, might lose some edge over time... :P
(I haven't really watched any since the Dr was Silvester Macoy with 'Ace', fighting the Cybermen.)

I started with the tudors, a little late.. But regular Dutch tv is bollocks, after a few 'CSI' series I'm still waiting for a 'CSI little house on the prairie' but I believe it's wishful thinking..

I was relatively disappointed by Utopia and it has too much conspiracy in it. Will see if I can finish the first season. I found it confusing and boring but maybe it is just me.

Finished up second season of Daredevil. I think it fell off this season a bit probably since it was more about launching 'The Punisher' and 'Elecktra'. Still for me it was above average great production value.

Also finished up season 1 of 'Utopia' I really enjoyed it, it felt like a complete story, packed into 6 episodes.

Have heard good things about this one (award winning) 'Deutschland 83' I haven't watch yet, not really in my wheel house but may check it out.

The Night Manager

watched the first episode last night. Intriguing, and a lot better than the disappointing first episode of GoT.

^ probably check that out.

Peaky Blinders is back in the next few days. 5 May 2016

Watched the first episode of 'Deutschland 83' that I linked above really good. No wonder all the buzz and award talk, the subtitles can be rough at times.

^ yay! thanks for the info

i'll definitely check deutschland83 out.

On a second thought, the second and the later episode of The Night Manager are grossly oversimplified and left too many plot holes open. Ridiculous

The book was a great read. I had no idea they made it into a series. I'll have to check it out.

On Netflix. "Continuum" (has been mentioned here before) Canadian sf/cyberpunkyish drama that is quite enjoyable. Good plot and good character development. Includes some ideas about the future that makes me feel a bit uneasy. Another very cute serie is the family friendly soft gore show "iZombie". Perfect no nosense fun! :)

Just want to mention the last scene in last weeks 'Gotham' it was fantastic.

Anyone else see it?
the scene was in front of Wayne manor with Jim Gordon and Alfred taking on Azrael. When Penguin (played so great) and Butch show up with a rocket launcher to save the day. Sounds over the top when writing but the lines were great and was done so well.
Also finished up Utopia. I did really love it, the first episode of season 2 was amazing to me. Doing a origin story and filming it like the 70's was great touch. So thanks to rwbx for that one.
