"West Wing" is a very enjoyable tv drama if you like the american politics angle. It is already starting to feel a bit old school, so if you have not seen or want to see it again, it is worth checking out before it feels outdated.

The Black Donnelys, which only lasted a few episodes. Not sure why

We talked about D-Day in one of the music threads, there is a series by HBO, Band of Brothers, I liked it very much. Thousand times better than Spielberg's Ryan.

And then there is Generation Kill about the Irak invasion, also very good. The next thing on my list is Pacific.

Done with the firts season of LOST. Nice ending, suspense is really good. I'll keep going on and save the rant for later.

^^ ja, Band of Brothers was great. especially with Friend's Ross in a serious role, see how long it takes you to get over that confusion ;)

Just watched S5 E16 of BREAKING BAD, "Felina" with my uncle who is on vacation with us. Forgot how emotional that was... good watch, albeit a disappointing end to the series. My only prayer is that Jesse Pinkman is the protagonist of the another AMC series.

I haven't watched TV (aside from news and sports) in years. Excluding old sitcoms, the last "tv series" I watched was probably torrented episoded of BBC's Sherlock.

LOST: done with season 2.
Still good, if you ask me. I don't particularly like the choice of killing one of my favorite characters so far, but it still keeps tension and curiosity at high levels.

^ This is how it sucks you in. Don't say we didn't warn you.

I tried to watch the series again and made it about 15 minutes into the first episode -- then I remembered how much each of the characters ended up annoying me.

^ I'll remember your warnings when I'll be screaming at my monitor at the end of it. ;)
So far, only Charlie really annoys me.

^ I can't decide if the fact that it at least *has* an ending is better or worse than the series I get into and are then cancelled (like Carnivale).

No wait, the stupid Lost ending is worse.

Are you watching "The Wire" yet?

^ I don't have to worry, though: The Wire is already here ready to bring my smile back.

Edit: no, I'll watch The Wire as soon as I'm done with Lost. I can't follow more than one series at the same time, I need time for movies too. ;)

Good lord, Lost season 3: I hope to get an explanation for all the things they are putting in there, otherwise is just plain bad script writing.

Is it any good? I have a hard time getting past Arquette. She's pretty one-dimensional. (Medium was horrible)
