I love the original Twilight Zone form the sixties and Dr Who original.
Only new series I like are Person of Interest and Castle.

I loved Silders, Buck Rogers, Original Battlestar Galactica and The Fugitive,
The Incredible Hulk and Six Million Dollar Man.

Hey there. Why don't introduce yourself and let us know what brought you here? I seriously doubt it was because of my tv series/films rants.

^ :D didn't even notice.

Meanwhile, done with Lost season 3. Aside from the last three episodes, this was the worst season so far.

I think I watched the first two (episodes, that is) of Lost.
It didn't do it for me.

^ If it keeps going on like this, I'll leave it too.

They should have called it "Flashbacks for the winning" not "Lost". Not that I am against flashback as a means to tell a story, but they are abusing this solution adding more and more to the plot without actually focusing on something really interesting. For instance: why should I care about Hugo's friend Dave? Why should I care about Sun's father? With all the things going on in every episode, I seriously doubt there will be explanations to everything they are throwing in.

"Lost" were all about the struggle for the characters and the journey the plot did throughout the whole serie for me. The solution
and explanations were of secondary importance for me.

Interesting aspect Vic. I tend to call the script a trap. Gekko will surely agree with time watching it.

flashbacks are so 1999. Lost has flashbacks, flashforwards, flashsideways, flashup, flashdown, flash-everything. this was before html 5.

Yeah watched Lost first couple of seasons which very promising but I lost interest in it after that. I did enjoy the performance though of Michael Emerson who played Benjamin Linus who is of course in person of interest. Very good at quirky performances.

I firmly believe that the manatees responsible for Family Guy also wrote Lost.

(In other words, I think the "writers" just made shit up from week to week and laughed all the way to the bank.)

"Lost" writer's meeting, as imagined by pidsley:

Gretchen: "what should we do this week?"
Flubber: "i have no fucking clue, i am so confused already"
Tigger" "i know! let's do a flashback episode where we show how the plane felt when it crashed! it could turn into a smoke monster!"
Pete: "no, no, let's do an episode where we introduce a new character who was in the plane's bathroom when it crashed, and show how he had a polar bear toy when he was a child, but his evil stepfather took it away."
Gretchen: will we ever use these characters again?
Pete: "of course not; don't be stupid. well.., maybe, if we run out of material again."

Producers give Pete a big bonus, people waste an hour watching another useless episode of Lost. No one ever sees a polar bear again on Lost.
