Another couple of episodes of The Wire: ok, already my favorite show. The all chess scene where D'Angelo explains the rules in a gangsta manner is worth at least two Lost seasons.
Thanks for taking me to this series, guys.

Oh yeah Gekko, finally. The Wire is fantastic. It kicks everything else outside. The problem is after finishing it, you won't find a replacement series. Though I recommend watching Boardwalk Empire after it.

So, you won't see the disappointing end of Lost. :)

^ Don't know about Lost yet. I am philologically unswerving when it comes to arts I like, so I guess I will not resist finishing the last two seasons. It will take longer than what I had in mind.

Watched a couple of episodes of "The Walking Dead" yesterday. The zombie angle. Crap, but :D

^ ooh watch out, Ivan may disagree with you!
I quite liked it, always the way with drama's somebody does something stupid and fucks everything up.
I suppose a bit like real life... Always thought it was a bit pointless watching TV where everything was like real life, be more efficient just living it.
Apart from the zombies of course :)

Well the cool thing with it is the struggle for survival. What those people have to fight aginst every second of their lives. It is very fascinating. Better than "Supernatural" though, which can be fun if you are in the ironic corner.

Yep I enjoy The Walking Dead but also know its weaknesses.

Eager to see how this season will end. Though the survival is always on repeat. :)

Saw the last couple of episodes. It transformed from a drama series to a psycho thriller, liked it.

The Wire still looks good.
I love how it manages to convey characters feelings one small bit at a time. Not giving away due to the need of something rather conventional like a love story, episodes explore relationships in a very distinct and realistic way.

I'm watching 'Dig'. It's on the USA network in the US. Its new, only 4 episodes in.

Basically about an FBI agent in Jerusalem and the concurrent activities of religious scriptures; the breast plate and its 12 stones, the boy who has not touched ground for his first 13 years, the red heifer, and of course murder. Its like an Indiana Jones/Divinci Code.

It all taks place (pretty much) in Jerusalem. The red heifer is in Norway, and the pure boy is in New Mexico.

Wife and I watched the pilot the other night, and the other 3 last night.

Work hard; Complain less

Watched the first episode of "The Returned" and there was enough there to keep my interest. It about a bus load of students who go off a mountain and are returning 4 years later. It has a supernatural element, my first thought was a alien twist but not now.

Last season's episode of The Walking Dead was damn intense. Wow, what a finale. I did not expect this ending and the screenplay surprised me.
