^ Yes, that's what I thought first time I tried. Around the web critics mentions Kubrick, De Palma, Frankenheimer. Maybe they just want to convince me.

I tried to watch Mad Men, one episode, when it first came out. I couldn't get into it. I think for some, it's a nostalgia thing, given the time period in the series.

Finished Doctor Who 4th series. A blast. Shame David Tennant will leave now, had such good times.

^ I thought the same about Tennant being the best, enter Matt Smith and more of a great ride.

This link has some cool stuff beside the show, the podcast. http://www.onstory.tv/
Watched the Frank Darabont episode last night was very interesting, his relationship with Steven King and how he approached the screenplays for his story's. (shorts, Movies, Tv Series)

The other obvious show is the 'Directors Chair' on El Rey Network hosted by Robert Rodriguez. If you want some insight into that process.

^ Ok, Matt Smith is not bad at all. I'll happily go on.

^ Its a tough job but somebody has to do it. Ive been a fan of Peter Capaldi but for some reason slow on the uptake. Maybe its just change and getting old, Im sure I will get there.

@anticapitalista: Singing Detective is fantastic. Need to rewatch, really. The soundtrack has been one of my favourites since I first heard it, and set me on the road to hot jazz, so am forever grateful :)

@rhowaldt - totally agree. A series that doesn't date. Plus Joanne Whalley! What a scene!

^^ Yes that one line is pretty lame, but Jeffrey Dean Morgan nailed it and made it sound creepy...

Is Outcast his other comic book project?

I liked everything about it, his lines pretty much from the the comic book. (well see if his actions match next season)

Yes his other book coming to tv, don't know much about it except I saw a few pages of the comic.

For the first time Doctor Who is feeling less amazing than usual. Something is just not the same.
