And after The Office, I'm in with Gavin And Stacey.

Will give "Lucifier" a fair chance. After the first episode it looks like a promising and entertaining serie. Enjoyable nonsense with humour for a relaxing time in front of the TV screen. Tried it a while a go, but were evidentely not in the right mood that day. :)

"The Gifted" is one of the worst shows I have ever tried to watch. I tried, really -- but I should have known when they cast Garret Dillahunt as the evil doctor (you can tell he's evil cuz he has a beard) and I kept waiting for him to turn into Cromartie. There is not a single likable character in this series.

Among the stupid:

Stupid whiny teenage mutants
Stupid whiny parents of said stupid whiny teenage mutants
Stupid mutant dude with requisite four-day stubble (dude! shave or grow a beard!)
Stupid mutant dude with requisite man-bun (dude! so ridiculous!)
Stupid magneto mutant chick who somehow manages to keep her perfect makeup (including raccoon eyeliner) IN PRISON
Stupid whiny "Sentinel Services" dude who needs to lock up all the mutants cuz they killed his daughter

Did I mention I think this is STUPID?

Let's also not forget to mention the Avengers at least once per episode:

"The Avengers said there'd be a war" "But they didn't say we'd win"
"The Avengers said we'd get a series" "But they didn't say we'd get a second season"

I can only hope.

^ I made it three episodes and I wanted it to work but have never been into the x-men verse. The tween whiny thing drives me crazy. I should have known when a majority of the characters are in there 20's or under = whine.

Peaky first episode was fantastic, the cinematography and story some of the best on TV.

Gavin And Stacey was awesome. Black Books, however, just didn't work for me.

Finished with second season of Stranger Things. I were entertained, not as entertaining as first season, but ok. I like this one mostly because of the idea of Upside Down, and the kids, they are all really some characters, and well acted by some very young actors. :)

If there is a third, which they have left an opening for. I hope they elaborate a little about the experiments to Dr Banner aka "papa", and what happened to the others. We have only met 008 & 011.

And of course, I want to know more about the main character, "The Upside Down"!!!

Finsihed also with season 4 of Blacklist. After first half of the season I were quite bored really. Then suddenly they flipped it and I were really engaged in it. Loved the ending, and there is a fifth season.

Realised though what it is all about. When you make a deal with the Devil... ;)

Yeah I managed to finish both series of Stranger Things. I like the 80's vibe, although it's wearing a bit thin, I think my fav bit was Mrs Nancy's Mom in the bath and looking all nice flirting with whats-his-name.
I've recently realised the C4 app on my phone here lets me look at the whole series of old comedies, so I'm going to check 'black books' out If that doesn't work out might go for another watch of 'the IT crowd' - awesome if you haven't seen it.

Peaky Blinders
was surprised to see Aidan Gillen aka littlefinger GoT show up, I must have missed that character announcement. I must admit I had to look it up I recognized the voice but couldn't remember who it was, looks so different.
Another great episode.

Yup, i'm also surprised. He lost most of his weird accent(s) from every season of GoT, also the absence of that retro pornstar 'stache and beard made him hard to be recognized. I really like the addition of that guy from The Pianist, made the last 2 episodes really standout.

I saw this and put it on my watch list. I read the book by Richard Morgan when it first came out.

Yes, it sounds interesting. I hope the show is good.

Godless was good and Dirk Gently went to shit.

Someone into Mindhunter, also on Netflix? I dig it and there is also Manhunt: Unabomber.

^^^ Altered Carbon, watched first 2 episodes, so far pretty good, Interesting setting, rather light on explanation (i actually like this kind of approach, but it doesn't mesh very well with its main character's lack of knowledge to current age). I don't like the main character at all. Thanks for the suggestion, Chef!

^ I like mindhunter (also said so in the previous page). :)

I even discovered it because of you I think. It was a mere confirmation.
Though I was disappointed after two episodes of Altered Carbon. Not my thing I think.

Same here regarding "Altered Carbon", just not my kind of fix. Other kind of things that I have enjoyed in no particular order is "Hotel Beau Sejour", "Call My Agent", "Erased", "Hibana Spark", and "Mindhunter" great stuff. Are deep into season four of "Person of Interest", and it remains still a favorite in this type type of action series.

Special mention have to be given to a British production called "Dr Foster". On the surface this one seems sooooo trivial. The name to start with, the "cover" picture, and the description of the plot. It is really simple, Dr Foster suspectes that her husband is cheating on her. Seems and sounds lame, doesn`t it ?

But then... :D

We finished the German Netflix show Dark and it was great.
