"Black Spot" or "Zone Blanche", a small town with a sawmill and twin peaksy characters is the backdrop to this French - Belgian serie. After two episodes I am not entirly sure what to think about it, but will continue to watch. :)

And the Netflix rating, there is one thing I miss. You know that two stars is "did not like it", and three is "liked it". What I want is two and a half, categorised as "did not like it, but watched it anyway". :o

There are always some shows that you do not like but somehow finish them regardless. I call it the screenplay trap.

Screenplay trap, yeah a good name. I have now been trapped by "Bonding", yet another Netflix serie, "A New York City grad student moonlighting as a dominatrix enlists her gay BFF from high school to be her assistant. " Quite funny, the actors are doing a decent job, and the characters are presented with warmth in their personality. :)

A film from last weekend, also on nf, "Their Finest", a BBC production if I remember correctly. A film about the making of a film in 1940, early 2nd WW. A good drama film, if you are into that of course. :)

"Dark" S2, E1. A bit hesitant, plot building, looking forward to the next episode. Lives up to it`s name. ;)

After E2 of "Dark" S2 I have to admit that I am confused. I love it, but all the jumping in time makes it a bit hard to follow. So I will have to refresh my memory by going back to S1 and kind of ff it to catch up a little bit of who is who.

Have kind of fallen for a comedy serie called "New Girl", the new girl moves in with three guys. Silly yes, but I am entertained. If remember correctly did see a couple of episodes on TV when it was new but did not like it. Now it is a good time waste. :)

Yeah, of course, if you are into sf and technology, the anthologhy series "Black Mirror" might be worth a look.

Yes, finally it is over. :|

Ended up with doing a complete rerun of "Dark" S1 to refresh my foggy memory. Will finish that before continuing with S2. And it is great fun because of the quality. :)

Anyone recommending Euphoria? I read great things about it, but you know me, I'm not very good at series.

No idea and it is a remake. It is definitely not on my list.

I fell in love with Inspector Montalbano after years of laughs behind his back. I'm a terrible man. It's one of the best things Italian television has ever had.

Watched "Unbelievable" on Netflix last weekend. It is in the true crime story genre, overall, very good. Recommended.

"The Sinner", great dialogue and character driven murder mystery serie on Netflix. A well played story that unfolds slowly, recommeded if you are into that sort of thing on your screen.

Finished first season of "The Sinner", only eight episodes, case were closed. Great entertainment, even if the intensity veered off a little bit towards the end. Looking forward to second season next weekend most likely, no time for such time consuming pleasures during this week. :)

Finished with S2 of "The Sinner". I want more of this. Absolutely awesome, Bill Pullman is freaking good here, I believe everything I am served. Great story this second season too. :))

Also watched cult classic "The Princess Bride", I liked it, funny sort of. :)

"The Kominsky Method" with Michael Douglas. Funny life moments, even when life stinks. Very good. "Atypical" 3rd season, and final probably. Enjoyed it a lot, with a happy ending. "Endeavour", S6 ("Young Morse") yeah, a bit lame maybe, but I just love this. Great crime drama stories, good acting and filming. And of course with that unbeatable exotic Oxford feel to it. :)

Lately I am hooked on Borgen, a Danish show about politics. It is very authentic, more so than House of Cards for example, probably because of its European context. Sometimes there are some melodramatic moments typical of North European and German series.
