^^That is ok, then it is a no. Must say that when I watch some total crap it is because I need to chill down and kind of flush my mind completely.

Are in the middle of S8 of Blacklist at the moment. This series has it´ s limitations quality wise, but it still entertains me, so then I am good. And Friday night after a full work week I normally prefer something not too challenging. :)

I'll start with Rome soon. I cannot resist this time period.

^ First episode rich in violence, sex and nudity. Ancient Rome as wild as it gets, I suppose.

So:

- Rome is not bad but neither is very good. Sets are great, but most of the times it feels like watching a soap opera to be honest
- I started Spartacus which is hilariously bad. Now, I read that it gets better if I stick around for more episodes, but so far I can only bear it with some beer on my side. Sex and violence here as well, by the way.

^ 4 episodes into Spartacus and, yeah, it indeed gets better. Well, sort of. I mean, you have to be one who enjoyed something like Death Race: Beyond Anarchy to go along with this series, but you know me.

Exactly and I already noticed that in the first episode. I could not watch it anymore after two.

Funnily I watched the whole Spartacus thing. It is really dumb but I enjoy some violence and sex, especially here. It was entertaining "trash". I really do not think that this show is taken itself too seriously.

^ Yes, I've already ditched Rome and I'll continue to enjoy the random nudity and gallons of blood in Spartacus instead.

Well well, Spartacus seriously gets even better towards the end of the first season! I should've expected it though, because Sam Raimi put some money behind this so something good must be present.

^ And it's even better on season 2, where it looses that cheap 300-wannabe look and finds its own style. Now, were it to learn how to forget about slow motion I'd be pleased more.

Any opinion on The Boys?

^ Not ready for it yet.

Meanwhile, I've been catching up with Mr Robot. Almost done with season 2. I'm not sure what to think about it, and I am mostly in because I cannot resist IT-related films/series even though I don't like most of them.

^ Not sure I'll get to the end of it. The fact that it keeps returning to 5/9 adding new things is making me angry.

Same here and Mr Robot is no exception. I stopped watching it in the middle of whatever it was they were doing. It bored me as fuck. Once the mystery was gone it went downhill and it really was very intriguing at the beginning and at times it smelled of an imitation of Fight Club.
I hoped some badass hackers wanted to destroy the shitty world and system we live in but nope.

^ They do hacker-y things in fact, but still, I abandoned the series because after a while I was just bored.

"Under The Banner Of Heaven" is a miniserie based on a book, that is based on true events back in the eighties in Utah. If it turns up on a streaming service near you it is strongly recommended to check it out.

Chucky
What can I say, it's my favourite horror franchise so everything coming from Don Mancini is always appreciated.
