Greetings
@everybody: Just wanted to say hello and notice a lot of familiar names from other forums. Must be distro whores like me. Been around the block a few times with Linux Debian, but not down the road very far. Try not to bother to much with dumb questions, but will to help if I can. Good to know by the looks of this forum that mostly everybody is having a happy good time. -zephyr

Re: Greetings
Thanks everybody, appreciate greatly the acknowledgement. Linux is something that a person should exhaust all possible resources both intellectually, and knowledge base, I don't favor to much doing it for them, how else does a person learn. For me it's been trial and error, combing the forums, not just the distros forum, but everywhere. If I get a brain freeze, or just lock up, yea I will seek help. Maybe a little steering in the right direction, but don't want anyone to do it for me. Thank you for the warm welcome. -zephyr

Welcome!
Re: Greetings
Welcome zephyr. While you may recognize some of the names here, you'll find that most of us mostly , if not entirely, reside here.

Re: Greetings
Ahh welcome indeed. You'll learn a ton about linux and everything associated with it round here. PLUS hobbies and real life things.
<vent>Just be glad you aren't having to consider installing alien on a perfectly good debian stable environment, so an RPM of a proprietary PGP program will work, which does the same job as GPG, and is only supported if installed on RHEL - find me forum where that's discussed</vent> O-o
