Errol Morris' _Gates of Heaven_ (1978). About the pet cemetary business. As funny and strange as it sounds. Bonus: disco-era California fashions and affects. Absolute gold.

Watched one called 'The Genuis of Rory Mcewen' BBC4 I think... you will have to search it out.

So much good stuff.

He was probably the most responsible for bringing folk and blues music to the UK, had the first music variety show and was a successful musician. Decided to walk away from that and do painting.

I like to watch this serie "Grand Designs", about people who build their dream houses. Mostly because it is very slow television and I do not have to spend the money and do not have to do the work. Plus all the frustrations that comes along with projects like this. But it makes cozy tv for me. :)

^ I knew a guy who worked on the cool tree house, the one made from round timber by a guy who lived in the forest. (woodsmans cottage) Shame his kid cannot inherit it (unless they've had a change of mind)
Just been fascinated by this particular set of documentaries I must have missed when I was 15 -

jump up a level and there are more Adam Curtis ones, which I intend going through and other interesting docu's on the site.
