Cool, not an expert here but I'll see if I can add something.

Think I already posted some nice docs in the Movies thread, but I won't go back through my movie rants looking for them. I love you guys, but don't ask me to read my rants all over again, please. ;)

all of Ken Burns' documentaries are worth a watch. many of them can be found online. a friend told me he didnt think baseball was in any way interesting until he saw that doc Bones posted.

here's some that looked nice.

Ken Burns - Jazz: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=so9XM65vGn8
Ken Burns - Prohibition (1/3 at least...): http://www.dailymotion.com/video/x15m7z ... shortfilms
The world according to John Coltrane: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BOJj4YXWPLI

^ I only know one two things about Kate Bush: she was discovered by David Gilmour and had a relationship with the bass player of her band (the guy who played the fretless bass on Babooshka :D)

And the really funny thing is: I found that out 2 days ago, when I wanted to know what bass guitar the guy used in that song. Seems recently rho and I do many similar things. Must be the bad air here.

thanks Ivan, awesome shit. reminded me of these i saw recently: http://rarehistoricalphotos.com/color-p ... i-germany/
i was amazed how much more of an impact stuff makes when it is in colour. weird. just goes to show how important colour really is. now we know why we appreciate those colourschemes so much :)

Impressive photos. Makes me aware what was orchestrated in Nuremberg when I walk the streets there, scary.
