Hi I'm new to the BBQ !

Hello all.
Not sure how I discovered you guys, but it's fascinating ! I've been using Linux on easy-mode for a few years and recently have wanted to get a little dirtier! Having installed LinuxBBQ Academy and Lacipecsenye I'm now cultivating a tiny, immature beard. We both thank you deeply.

Erm I got banned from linuxbbq on freenode. I wasn't being an ass I promise. I was logging in from several different distros on the same computer and auto logging from i3 ... not sure if this was the problem. Anyway can I come back ? I promise to change the behaviours that left me out in the cold :)

Also I'm getting 'SASL access only' errors from freenode on hexchat, despite following the instructions; registering a nickname and configuring my client. This doesn't happen when I login to freenode from the web. This could be why I was banned in the first place, after making numerous failed login attempts.

^ I've gotten banned before only to find myself "unbanned" a few days later (with Weechat to be exact). I don't remember what I had to do - I think I PMed Titan on IRC.

Thanks for the suggestion Dr_Chroot and thanks for the help wuxmedia. I've been sending messages to the support, because I feel it's not only the ban but the SASL access problems too. Anyway I'll keep at it and see what happens :)
