Today the Dutch Itunes is full of Prince and our number 1 is 'Sometimes it snows in April'. I know there are users who like random stuff with numbers. Well this one seems pretty odd. Sometimes it snows in April is a song from the movie Under the Cherry Moon and 30 years old. Prince was 57 minus 30 (from that song) is 27. We all know that 27 isn't exactly a good age when you're an artist.

I personally never really got on with Prince, apart from some singles.

On the UK side. A comedienne died also pretty young:
Victoria Wood.

^ I've always been more into Prince than Bowie (speaking of recently gone music geniuses)

^ me too. My first concert was a Prince concert. Standing at the 5th row near the speakers, and I was completly deaf (for 2 days). But both artists were icons and will be missed.

Been a fan of the artist since the Controversy album. My best friends brother in high school was director of soul at U of M radio station. We would go down and hang out on the weekends and do some partying. He turned me on to so much music that I never thought I would enjoy and of coarse Prince.

^ There was a pretty large ceremony for him held here in Arizona this weekend.
Out of the corner of your eye you spot him... Shia LaBeouf.

Bud Spencer and Terence Hill. The spaghetti western dream team! I grew up watching those guys dish out knuckle sandwiches right and left. Bud was the silent, cranky old man, and Terence Hill always played the upbeat sidekick. I fucking loved those films.

The films may have been in B-movie territory, but they were a fun romp for kids of any age.
