I wonder if celebrities sit around reading the obits and then go 2 forums and post stuff like RIP Joan Wilson of freefall Indiana or you shall be deeply missed Fred toddy, aged 63? :)

^ the reason we do it (here) is because some people (here) don't have 24 hours time a day reading news sources from around the world, so some people (here) get their updates (here) on
- who passed away
- what's happening in Linuxland
- what's new in the cinema/on TV, on the bookshelves, etc.
Probably the "celebrities" don't have much in common except of being "celebrities", so ...
1) if there's such "celebrities meet&greet" forums we won't know about it, because we are cheap average common people
2) if there's no such forum they can't post stuff like "RIP baconator"
3) I also strongly doubt they care about anything else than themselves
