So - a piece on BBC Radio4 (posh talk radio) just reckoned that celeb deaths are up by 46% this year. had a peak in the beginning, then levelled out, then this last spate.
They based it on the number of pre-written BBC obituaries published, so saying that person was 'worthy' enough to have one.
He also resonated with my idea that there are just more famous people, with the influence of TV really coming into effect, although that shouldn't be one year, I dunno.
I mean population is mostly increasing, so the amount of celeb deaths would increase proportionally.

No worries Mb, however when you go there will be a void in the Nixsphere. Am sure there are plenty of great celebs regardless and plenty that are mega-league buttholez too, shrugs.

Babble edit: Celebs are people too, when someone cuts them, do they not bleed? And put their pants on one leg at a time like the rest of us? Only plenty of them do it in a mansion in Beverly Hills (or pays a butler to do it, lol.)

So yeah, guess for whatever reason the obsession peeps have with most celebs tends to grate on my nerves. More shrugs, but such is life and just 1 babblers outlook on the subject.

When most celebs give up the ghost find it no more or less pleasing than when hearing about anyone dying.

However, with that said I did just get an interesting bk "Voodoo 4 Dummies" and am planning to attempt a death curse on Sir Ivan's annoying neighbor. :p

^^ i can guarantee that nobody here has "an obsession for celebs" ;) and it's not really about celebs here, it's about people or animals that passed away. hope we can keep the respectful atmo. thanks :)

Masaya Nakamura founder of Namco (Pac-Man, Rally-X, Dig Dug, etc) died at the 22 january.

^^ Chet was dumb on steroïds and he played it well. Weird Science is one of my favourite 80's movie.. It has something nerdy, comedy and Kelly LeBrock. Since then a lot has changed, although I heard that Julius is coding with a bra on his had too.. ;)
