I wish I had the cold over here. There were record breaking highs this past week. A hot and sweaty 115° F (46.2° C).

I hope all of your days are going well.

It was in the 60's and beautiful in upstate New York today (hard to stomach beautiful and New York in the same sentence, though). I've loaded up for the border town of Laredo, TX, so that will be changing as I head south.

Thanks! Though if I caught a cold up there it would probably be pneumonia by Laredo time. It only took me to Virginia to reach the 90's. In Georgia tonight where the low will be in the lower 80's (85 degrees at 23:00 after reaching an afternoon high in the upper 90's). The temps are crazy over here, lols!
Hoping your birthday turned out great, btw. :)
@elixir> You live in a convection oven, dude! I know there's not a lot of techie type work up around my favorite mountain, but the property just west of there is fairly cheap and a LOT cooler, lols. If I wasn't so dead set on living on the water, that would be my hands-down second choice! :)

Here in Germany the summer is already over. When I was in the north it was warm and nice but here in the south, strange isn't it, it was raining and it still does. At least it is not so cold anymore.

A regular day in the Netherlands (rainy). Riding my bike 40km+ and it might be strange, but I smoked with the plants instead of smoking them :P

^^ I used to get through a few metric tons of that a day... when I worked in a hemp factory :)
probably the same amount you'd need to get a buzz out of that field stuff...

Good afternoon. Not in a good mood lately. Have a ton of work and construction at home. Cannot get any peace right now. After a stressful workday I need rest but cannot get it at home. Fuck that! They are renovating some old installations here. I mean fine but please without me being there.

Will go for a run.

Good afternoon. Now it is raining again, like for more than 12 hours constantly. Let's make it 24 this night.

Fuck this summer! By next month I will be in Mallorca, yesh.

First, I want to apologize to all for a posting with some content which was unacceptable to the Forum and apologize to Ivan who had to move it to the dumpster. Please feel free to apt-get purge it completely. I am sorry, for my bad judgment by inserting it in the post.

Summer appears to be re-appearing here in the Vancouver, Canada area. Still adjusting from moving from the equatorial tropics to maritime temperate climate. At my sister's house in the centre of Vancouver, she had no snow last winter which is starting to become the norm. At my parent's house, one of my Windmill Palms I started from seed about 18 years ago is starting to get bigger now. See photo. So many palms and bananas in the Vancouver landscape now.

Anyways, happy I don't need a VPN to see Netflix now.

wow - had to check on a map, Vancouver is on the same-ish latitude as the southern UK, which thanks to the gulf stream has some palm trees in Cornwall.
Although Palms in Daneland is not at all usual to me.
PS. hot as hell in UK now. humid too.
