Introduction
Hi all,
I will never tire of tweaking custom linux installs and appreciate what linuxbbq is all about. I've known about linuxbbq for some time, but have only decided to join now after recently becoming interested in debian again (I am also kind of shy... trying to fix that). I hope to be able to add to your community.
I enjoy checking out all of your screenshots. Here's my current setup:

Welcome, we are all shy here, well relatively speaking.
setup looks nice perhaps you could explain the appeal of AwesomeWM? (assuming you've filled in your forum info accurately)

Re: Introduction
Welcome zak, anybody who posts a scrot with a CLI app (but without notification bubble :p kidding) is warmly welcome.
is that really awesomeWM? If yes, you'd be probably the first and only one at the grill using it regularly ;) Hope you can infect some of us with it.

Re: Introduction
Thanks everyone!
Haha yes my forum info is as intended. I tried awesome multiple times over the years before settling on it. I used to hate it. But after trying dozens of other window managers, I found awesome to provide most of the features I want from tiling and stacking wms. It is fast, stable, and well documented. Also commonly used, so there are many configs to pull inspiration from. I mainly used openbox and dwm previously.wuxmedia wrote:Welcome, we are all shy here, well relatively speaking.

Howdy, zak!
I for one am always interested in the use (and abuse) of other window managers! I can't wait for you to show us how awesome Awesome really can be. Hopefully it will motivate me to venture into that dark realm of the unknown! :)
Grill away, chef!
