Now it is almost impossible to predict who could win the cup.

^^ hoping for a new champion, am betting a chunk on Croatia at the beginning of world cup. Now I'm not so sure.

Also, good god England made it to the semi as well.

^ please don't let it be like 1990 again. (assuming we get to the final - EDIT except it wasn't even the final...)

I don't really follow football, but I recall that match.

Okay, statistics said that since 1982, world cup final match has to feature at least one Inter and Bayern player.

France has exactly one Bayern player. Croatia has two Inter players. Okay.

Didn't watch the match. But caught the result. Pretty normal.

Croatia has played a full 90 minutes more than France, and they have a day less for recovery. Rakitic in particular; would probably make employee of the month at a Foxconn factory with all the shifts he's put in.

When extra time goal happened....

Good world cup for England, especially when nobody expected them to go this far.

That VAR call was bollocks!! Yes, technically handball, but it was ball-to-hand, not the other way round.
Other than that, good game.

I just felt sad for Croatia. Mistakes, sure, but they played with heart.

Yeah, it was a goal fest and I also felt sorry for Croatia, especially with the penalty and free kick.

Felt like Croatia was robbed because of those set pieces calls. France did a good job in nullifying Rebic and that right back (Vrjalko), still an entertaining game nonetheless.
