Celebration time again, as seen elsewhere I ´ve got a promotion at work. Yey, more work and responsibility, but different from before so at the moment I feel very good about it. Let us see how I feel three months from now? ;)

And one more thing to celebrate, I completely forgot about it. Shame on me. Cleaned out the closet of old crappy hardware last summer and got myself a refurbished X1 instead. Super yey! :)
Congrats and welcome (back) to the Thinkpad club!

Thank you both, and one more win to celebrate. I ´ve finally cleaned the bookmarks and organized them neatly in folders. Ok, still a bit chaotic in the folders, but I will happily live with that. And try to keep it neat and tidy. :)

And another thing, I am also celebrating the return to Ubuntu with the install of 22.10 on the above mentioned X1. There are some peculiarities here and there to sort out of course but think it will resolve itself with the help of time and use. :)

Edit : The reason for not installing the latest LTS is that the next LTS is coming in April, so a backup and reinstall or upgrade is ok with me.

What a miserable life I live. No celebration since November 2021... But now this weekend I celebrate that my daughter has got a job offer as a jurist that she says she will accept. :))

Thank you guys, and she even succeeded in negotiating a raise of the wage from her original job offer! :O

It feels so good so I had to boast about it a little bit. And I know what this means for her after all the crap she has gone thorough in her life during the years at uni. :)
