Hello, Margarite! It's me again.... ;>)

Unread post by nommies » Tue Mar 15, 2022 4:25 pm

I've been through a bit since the last time I wandered in here. I left my wife (don't even wanna talk about that) and basically lived out of my truck and chain-smoked until it caught up with me and gave me a nice little present: a Transient Ischemic Attack ( I probably didn't spell it right) or what hicks like me just call a mini-stroke.
I lost my career in trucking for at least a year, but my company offered me a job spotting trailers at a beef processing plant in Liberal, Kansas, and having no skills other than trucking, I relocated last June.
I wander in here occasionally. I'm usually looking for something to try out because I get an urge to do some of the neat things you guys introduced me to back in the day.
I did build a nice Spectrwm off a Debian base last year, but I kinda forgot the cooler stuff I learned about Openbox, Cwm, and the neat framebuffer stuff.
If ya don't use it, ya lose it....
Anywho, I hope y'all are doing great and being awesome as always!
wux, Bacon, Pidsley, Ivanegro, gekko, DOCTOR chroot, and everyone.... I'm sorry I haven't kept in touch, but y'all are probably at least a little bit grateful for the break in my neverending flood of stoooooopid questions, lols!
I hope one of these days I can wander in and find some of you guys, because I want to know what's been going on with all y'all!

Hi nommies

What ´s going on with us? Well actually not much lately, the bbq is a very relaxed and chill place to visit, which is a good thing since the rest of the world has gone completely doolally.

That´s it more or less and as ivan said, take care! :)
Sorry guys, no signature for a while, too busy with life. :|

Ah, you're nomnom noob. I remember you!!
You went nomnom a lot. Our resident cookie monster, although the GPDR probably killed half your cookies (maybe that's the reason for the mini-stroke).
Good to know you've recovered and found your feet again.
Keep on truckin spottin'
Welcome back.

Oh hey welcome back. Yeah been a while.
You'll find personally I have no time for mucking about with computers (now I've spent a long time mucking about with them for money)
You do have some 'drive' (pardon the pun) for computers. I have no Idea what Kansas has to offer in regards to a computer job, but It's a thought?
