Re: Hello
Hello nazuk and welcome to the BBQ!
The "Roast Your Own" way is the following:
1) you pick a base installation ISO first - it doesn't contain anything else than a Window Manager, a browser, an editor and a file manager.
2a) If you have Linux experience, the 'optimal' case it is this one: http://linuxbbq.org/bbs/viewtopic.php?f=3&t=33
2b) You can also start off with another base, for example GNOME3 http://linuxbbq.org/bbs/viewtopic.php?f=3&t=5 or MATE http://linuxbbq.org/bbs/viewtopic.php?f=3&t=4
3) You then install all the applications you want, change the styles and themes and create your own installable 'remaster' that you can share with others, if you want
We also have ready-made distros, have a look at http://linuxbbq.org/bbs/viewforum.php?f=3
Here a more verbose FAQ: http://linuxbbq.org/bbs/viewtopic.php?f=7&t=35
The project is still under development, in the next weeks there will be a user repository coming in which members can upload their configurations and themes and make them available to the community (via apt-get)
If you have questions, problems, suggestions -- please let us know.

hey nazuk, so nice of you to join us! we're still a small community so it is good to have more people jump in.
