BREAKING BAD: still not liking season 3, sorry guys. I know I'm PITA, but I'm quickly losing interest in the characters. Hope it really gets better soon.
OPPENHEIMER: BBC short (7 episodes) series about J. Robert Oppenheimer. Part of my 'end of the world' treat, of course. I like it and it is available on youtube if anyone is interested.

BREAKING BAD: you were right. 3rd season had a superb ending and so far the 4th one is pretty good as well.

Watching Osvobozhdenie right now. Only saw the first part. Let's see. It is an epic movie in five parts in the style of "The Longest Day".

THE DAY AFTER TRINITY: a doc about Oppenheimer and the atomic bomb (yep, part of my 'end of the world' series). Better than the BBC series. Made me want to know more about Oppenheimer, because I didn't know he was such a complex individual.

I recently watched The Inbetweeners 2. I loved the series and the first movie, this one was just as good.

BREAKING BAD: just two episodes left of 4th season. Superb rush to the ending, it really got good here. Cinematography improved quite a lot since the 3rd season, some shots are just perfect. Also, and this is true for every single episode so far, the soundtrack suits the events perfectly.

MONSTER: South Korean thriller with the usual turns you can expect from this kind of SK movie. Decent, but not as good as many say.

KILLERS: Mo Brothers got some style, but not so much skill to grasp psychological depth of their characters. Good idea, though, for thriller fans it should be a fine watch despite me always asking for something more. ;)

ANNA MAGDALENA: funny and with a delightful Heroic-Trio-esque 20 minutes. Not a masterpiece, but a nice viewing overall.

(yes, home alone, that's why so many entries today)

BLACK HAWK DOWN: splendid American propaganda, quite surprised to see Ewan McGregor in this, not used to him picking this type of film... still fun to watch, i guess.

DAUGHTER OF DARKNESS: one of the best CAT III from Hong Kong cinema golden age. Pretty much everything you could expect from a CAT III: violence, black humour, rape, incest. Only HK cinema could do it like this.

* ONG BAK 2
Thai martial arts movie with a well thought out scenario, besides the usual epic combatz.
Narrated with flash-backs. My favourite part of the trilogy.

* DIRTY HARRY
Classic police flick that shows the excesses of modern justice (still relevant after 40 odd years). Nice soundtrack too.

THE SOPRANOS will be my next one. That, or SILICON VALLEY.

BREAKING BAD: 4th season ending was superb. I really loved the very last shot.

^ i finished S04 before S05 was released, and considered for some time just leaving it at that because the ending was so good. however, the loose ends and general quality of the show made me come back and watch S05 as well, and it was worth it :)
