Enemy - Crazy as fuck movie, excellent soundtrack. completely unintelligible (to me)
IMDB wrote: Christian Bale was also offered the role and he wanted to do it but couldn't due to scheduling conflicts with other projects.
That's crazy, I totally kept thinking he was in it.

I watched an explanation on youtube that helped to get the film a bit more.

Fuck. And I thought WW2 movies were scary (I guess they call it "progress")

BREAKING BAD
What's with that poor ending? Up to what happens to Hank everything was very good, but those last two episodes couldn't keep up with the tension and the drama built before. It felt like those turns were the only thing they could think of to close the series. To me it felt like they let the characters go without caring. Come on, two such great characters as Walt White and Jesse Pinkman and you couldn't think of something better than a bunch of lame bad guys? Sorry, it totally ruined my pleasure.

^ hmm, i see your point. still a great series though. i had the same feeling with the ending of Lost, but that was awesome too.

^ it is a great series. Only half of the 3rd season is not good as the rest. 1st, 2nd and especially 4th are awesome television. 5th is a nice season too, but maybe there wasn't enough time to give those bad guys at the end a proper depth. Which is weird considering how beautiful the rest of the characters are.

^ ja, see what you mean. and like i said before, the ending of S04 was wonderful and i would be happy with that, but they had to use S05 to tie off the loose ends of the story, like Hank still being on his tail etc. so i guess that shows a bit.

incidentally, have you seen Lost?
or, if we're talking series now anyway, Game of Thrones? those and Breaking Bad are the only series i ever watched and they are all great shit.

^ haven't seen those two. Not much of a series fan, but that's because I'm too much addicted to cinema. In fact, I'm going back to cinema for a while and then I'll see what series will be my next watch.

The ending was acceptable for me but I know what you mean Gekko and finally if I think about it I would say now with having more distance to the series that the ending should be better. It was like a bad patch to terminate it maybe like the really shitty ending of Lost.

That is why you should watch The Wire.

I know what you mean. You have to get past the beginning. It is a bit old school but then you will be hooked. I had to try it a second time. ;)

SILICON VALLEY: only 8 episodes of this sitcom that I already am in love with. To me it was funnier than THE BIG BANG THEORY and IT CROWD, which failed to get me to laugh almost every second just like SILICON VALLEY and eventually I stopped watching them. Maybe because I can relate to characters here, I don't know. Of course, geek level here is 101%, but what do you expect from a show about programmers?

On a similar Tip, i just finished watching 'Halt and catch fire' - it was OK, kind of obvious, and it had the same thing that I didn't enjoy about a few episodes of breaking bad. - something good happens, someone does something utterly stupid to wreck it (drunk or upset), rest of characters pick up the pieces, apologies all round - except for some lingering resentment/boredom/idiocy, which leads to next weeks repeat of the same process with another character.
Got pretty high ratings though.

Going to have a look at silicon valley, cheers.

THE FIFTH ESTATE: Julian Assange and Wikileaks story. You could spot the cheap b-movie here, but it is a fine one.

UNTRACEABLE: silly thriller that doesn't work from the very first minute.
COHERENCE: Sundance-hip-like flick that it is everything but coherent. If I have to quickly sum up what I hate the most in cinema I'll show you this movie.
JAI HO: Bollywood at its best, or at least the Bollywood I like. Clearly DABANGG did set a sort of standard.
