There's no perfect icon set. Either they are overly simplified (ACYL), or lack clarity (Clarity), or massive (Faenza), or look shitty (LXicons).
Right now I go for Tango, but only because it's a comparably light theme (package size) and it does what it says on the tin (Icons).

Icons are bloat.

Of course you folks all know K. Mandla? His blog Motho ke motho ka botho used to be (still is in fact) a great source of ideas for lightening things up. He started out tweaking Ubuntu for speed and later went off into Xless systems using the framebuffer on custom Crux Linux setups and the like...

Suddenly stopped, though. After a gap he's now running "Inconsolation" where he's posting up lightweight cli apps that people round here might enjoy. Image

very nice indeed. Noticed a change in roaster, just didn't say anything. Thought was known already so my apologies. So yes, cool, and great to see some local yammers included.

while looking for a simple CLI Dropbox solution i came across this bash-script: https://github.com/andreafabrizi/Dropbox-Uploader

works really well, all the instructions are provided in the README and the app itself guides you through the setup process.

thanks, I was just looking at dropbox CLI solutions. I was looking at this
http://www.dropboxwiki.com/tips-and-tri ... erface-cli
just recently, I just cloned and set it up. Works well and as advertised. But tbh, I mainly still using Copy.

Thanks for sharing rho!

As long as it is CLI, greatness.
