The release name, definitely. You can even choose the WM/DE. No, don't even mention Cinnamon or GNOME3.

Welcome to the grill, idiot.

This may be the problem -- some of the bbq spins are older than others, and the older ones tend to dislike upgrades at this point. Which flavors did you try? One that seems to work well for most people starting out is Coal. It uses LXDE, comes in 32 and 64 bit, and you can get it here: http://sourceforge.net/projects/linuxbb ... DE%20Base/

If you try this one and still have problems, just tell us exactly what you did and what went wrong and we will try to help you fix it.

ENOUGH!
And 've burned but not even thinked to Trollinger.

i would burn coal an try it, asap. just to ask there's a command to capture errors (only errors) during dist-upgrade? or there's a log i could check? If i read correctly must be /var/log/dist-upgrade? correct?

Dear idiot,

it really depends on what you want. Arrogance/Pompous are okay, they are quite fresh. Enough is semi-fresh, should actually survive dist-upgrades. HELLO ASSHOLE is a tad old and heavy on gtk3.x so it will probably misbehave.

So, start with Arrogance/Pompous, do not dist-upgrade yet, just click around and see if it works on your hardware, if you can get network to work, etc.

@bones: hah, you remember :) e17 causes migraine, it is scientifically proven.
