good, good. love ghost in the shell, must re-watch.
and love the millenium series.

this series/movie is a good history lesson, annoying presenter, 'pirates of silicon valley'
http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0168122/
I thought 'sneakers'
http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0105435/
was a great all round 'security' movie, slightly less cheesy than 'hackers' , though less iconic 8)

MOVIES
I love Ghost in the Shell, and Ghost In The Shell: Innocence as well.
Sneakers is a very fine one.
AntiTrust is another IT-related movie, though few hacking in here.

BOOKS
William Gibson Sprawl trilogy, of course.

Movie
Stalker - http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0079944/?ref_=fn_al_tt_2
Battleship Potemkin - http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0015648/?ref_=nm_knf_t1

I'm a huge fan of Tarkovski and Eisenstein.

Literature
Mostly Russian literature and I love philosphy. Some of my mixed favourite list;

* Edipe sur la Route - Henry Bauchau
* Oblomov - Ivan Goncharov
* Crocodile Street - Bruno Schulz
* Utopia - Thomas More
* Politeia - Platon

Music
I don't have a specific taste but I love mostly aggressive musics, lol.
I killed a man 'cause he killed my goat
I put my hands around his throat
He tried to reason with the sky and the clouds
But it didn't matter, 'cause they can't hear a sound

I don't remember it quite well, but I don't think Battleship Potemkin has something to do with hacking...

^I think Eren may have missed the "hacker" part of the thread title, but I'm OK with that. ;) Cool stuff, nonetheless.

Yeah, my bad. I thinked that the hacker is another option, not the whole idea. So, I didn't post something related to hacker, just about cinema, literature and music. You have an ignore option GekkoP.

I was kidding, guys. Maybe my poor English skills and the lack of a smile at the end made sound that remark more serious that what actually I intended it to be.
Talk about whatever you want, Eren, it's not me who decide what's right or wrong in here. :)
