I want to play a game.

BINGO, everyone loves bingo. So, from the list of stupid/pointless/mistaken/whatever things I've done...let's play bingo!

I figure that like myself, some of you have done all of these...but anyways...BINGO!!!

LOL :-) I score only 4 points.....

BTW, what do you mean by "requires source for one of top 5 favorite wm's" ? You mean that the top 5 wm's that you use are all based on code that you must edit and recompile to change things?

I miss:

"Has used his system to compile programs for other platforms (cross compiling)"

"Has flashed CoreBoot on his BIOS"

"Has flashed a custom kernel as payload for CoreBoot"

"Uses busybox to boot his system"

"Only accepts Dvorak, Colemak for keyboard layouts"

"Has used a home brewed evolutionary algorithm to calculate optimal layouts. Uses 3 or more different layouts for different tasks"

"Uses 3 or more monitors"

"Has coloured LEDs on the backs of his monitors, to create cool 'ambilight' effects"

This is also a handy "to do" list for those of us less experienced. :) 10 out of 25 for me.

lol, 22 :D

I only miss the emacs function and I'm not sure if I have 100 keybindings ready, but yeah - counting wm's, emacs, tmux, screen, nano, vim and elinks/links2 together, sure.

I miss:
- has more than once successfully edited a file with ed or le
- knows the difference between sudo and su
- has no icon theme except hicolor on his X system
- uses info instead of man
- has used wajig as package manager

@pothead, I meant that ANY of your top 5, but it doesn't really matter. It's just playing around. Some really good additions in there. "Only accepts Dvorak, Colemak for keyboard layouts"-I lol'ed. I know a guy like that.

@ MB: I haven't used wajig, and don't use info instead of man. (but I hear info uses vim keybinds...so there's that.)

How about:

11. May not know > 100 keybinds, but close enough. Like mb says, b/t vim, tmux, wm's, web browsers, etc.

and like bones states, also can be used as todo list

I did the same with Crunchbang.
Ubuntu server sucked. IMO.
After it decided it didn't like eth0 and switched to using eth1, without so much of a how do you do (although that might have been a generic bug) and for some reason ssh'ing into it would take a loong time.
I much prefer my wheezy netinstall 8)

I'm pretty poor at this, 6. I'm fiddling with a kernel though, so it will probably turn into an 8 (first it will not work fo' sho').

10- not as bad as i thought. But only because i managed to dd to my HD just recently ("say, isn't sda my main HD ? Strange. Should i really dd to it ?"). Btw- do you get extra points for every kernell you compiled that did not work ? In that case i should have around 40 points. I am the king of building non working kernels. Just ask me if you ever want to lean how to build totally useless kernels that never work.
