you win. But tamikan, what if you simply DIY, by taking some kind of base (Tiny, or the framebuffer release with the ultra long name) and sudo apt-get install e17 on it? :)
I wouldn't do much more either.

^ I was also going to suggest this. Tamikan, it's easy to install e17 on just about any of the existing releases.

I tried to put e17 on Gentoo, one time. It was a nightmare. I never did get it to work. But Debian is not Gentoo, thank God.

Fuck e17, I would say. We do not roll Gnome and KDE, and we should not e17. :D
