Yep, I just couldn't say anything for sure (though I knew it would not be Gnome 3 and well, it's not).

New stuff happening right now. A bit chaotic but that's gonna just happen.

I seriously thought about doing that, because at some point I got really tired of both Android and touchscreens, but I couldn't find any of those kickass brick Nokias with Symbian for a reasonable price, so I gave up. One of those, like an N73 or similar would have been reasonably "smart", but close to indestructible (I actually had one, can confirm).

Chilli, thanks for the update. Not sure as to what you are updating, but thanks anyway :)

Ivan, yeah I thought that quote was funny too, although I don't think it would be steroids, more like those diet "fat flushing" pills :D

I've still never owned a smart phone. My current phone is a 7 1/2 year old Samsung A717.

The other day, I dropped it, and it quit working. I switched to a spare battery (actually, it was the phone's original battery, which I had replaced a few years ago), put it on the charger, and got it going again. I guess it's just a matter of time before I have to buy another battery or another phone.

Yeah, kudos to the Xfce team for taking a stand and kicking that shit to the curb. Will be interesting to see the fallout, for sure.
