^That's your wallpaper? That was some great work, doubledutch! Dude, I don't think I could do even a decent wallpaper with step-by-step directions :(
Now I know where the credit goes, so my mystery is solved :)

Sir! Put down the hammer and slowly step away from the computer.

Re: /dev/null
Sorry, machinebacon. I should have scanned a page back :(
doubledutch, we could trade wallpapers, but if you looked at the mess I've made of my latest RYO, I doubt you would want to compare notes.
Ya might just want to send me man pages, lols!
My JWM looks pretty good, but my SpectrWM....
This may take a little longer than I figured!
I'm getting help from an expert in this. His problem is getting it into this thick skull, lols!

^Great link wux, thank you.
Then it is time for a little rant, when W10 came out, I sort of just used it and thought, it is ok, normal W experience. Nothing to get to much worked up about. It works mostly, slow, clunky etc... you know the drill.
Rant on: Now after this so called "Creators update", I mean, WTF??? Everything is so hidden and stashed away somewhere that I probably will have to call "Madame Oracle" to help me find it. No, I do not know any command line stuff for W, that would have made things easier if I had known. No do not care to learn it either now, I just use Linux more, and do what is necessary because of smple compatibility reasons on W. Rant off.
Phew, that made me feel if not better, at the least a tad less tense. :)

Re: /dev/null
that's all very well - as soon as it's sunny it's freezing cold now, at least the rain and cloud is quite warm in comparison (and I am not as far north as some)
