The (not so) funny thing is he didn't even bother to apologise once, just blaming it on others because "hey, I can do it". I won't probably get to know the entirety of this story any time soon, but seeing fanatics throwing excuses like "chill man, autism is at play here" or "he did so much for IT, you don't know shit" is just incredible as well.

Damn, sometimes when I look back on my own older postings I see how my English language skills suck. Blushing every time, not that it is non understandable, it just this way like that what I write were spit out in staccato mode. Or, whatever, just had to do a small autorant about it. Thanks. :|

^ You should hear me speaking in English then. As much as my writing skills are good, my speaking ones have only got worse and worse since I came back to Italy ten years ago. The chances of practising them are simply close to none now.

Might be, but your writing skills are really good. Yes, I know what you mean, once upon my time my Italian were quite good, but since I do not practice it anymore it has degenerated totally. That is normal though, but I have discovered one funny thing.

When I speak English with someone who is not so fluent in the language, I also start to stutter come out very below of my average. On the other side of the spectrum, if I speak with someone who is really good at it, or maybe even native in it, I also step up my game and deliver a decent talked English. Does this make sense? Have others made the same experience?

Oh yes, I know the feeling quite well. Although I am horribly shy so most of the times I screw up because of that. ;)

It does. Probably just a subconscious thing. Example: let's say you're speaking with someone who isn't fluent in a language you're fluent in, you'll automatically slow down and simplify your style to a level they're comfortable with, right? It's the same idea applied in the opposite direction, basically. Maybe the stuttering is just your subconscious way of trying to conform. After all, speaking Queen's English in a blue collar suburb in Northern England will do nothing but make you appear like a pompous douche.

I can't even understand my own posts from a month ago :D
I don't think anyone in France could speak a lower level French than me. I learnt from country bumpkins and very blue collar peeps.

I honestly forget that you aren't all native writers, especially gslob, he's come such a long way :p

Too many cups of tea? That depends of what your stomach can stomach?

Still a coffee slave myself, wish I could downsize my exaggerated consumption to max five cups a day. Large cups!

Fuck region-locking on Blu-Rays, and fuck Amazon how displays the wrong information about it.

(I've probably already said it 1000 times before, I know.)

Having a two week break from tv ´n´ N ´flix after overdosing on miscellaneous series of dubious quality. When it becomes too much it is like the brain turns into some swampy inconsistent unspecified crap that you do not want to touch without gloves on your hands. No I am not drunk, bored maybe. :D

So pulled out one of my craptops from my pile of shamy lappys and wasted some time with dear old Debian. Came here and made a couple of spam postings just to kill some time.

Nah, seriously I am a little bit frustrated because next week will be a lot of work work and more work. And I am just not in the mood for that. Would seriously prefer to stay at home and listen to some cool funky music whilst tinkering away without thinking. Or something. :)

Same here, but I'll keep up my Halloween tradition tomorrow and find some time for a (hopefully good) horror film.
