Most people in Indonesia use a squatty potty or the river to take a dump and have never used a Western style toilet, so malls and higher class hotels need signs like this.

that's like the inverse of in France, 'footstep' toilets are still very popular over there, when I was at work there with overall pockets full of bolts and tools was a fucking nightmare, then that flush, which makes your feet wet...
Best thing to piss in though, dance about, read a book, no matter - it all went in :)

I was pasting an IP to release it, and somehow copied a space and a newline :(
luckily a reboot sorted it. ~600 users and only one of 'em noticed.

@archvortex: thanks, now i finally understand why they have those signs. everytime i saw them i thought "how the fuck dont you know how to use a fucking toilet!?!?" - but yeah, i guess i didnt think about this. Western Privilege :D

wonderful photos at the bottom indeed. some governments really want to shock you out of doing shit. bet they have the dead babies on cig packets there as well.

I hate those traditional squatty potties for having to take a dump. Being 2 metres tall, it's a fucking annoyance to squat so far down (like these little guys do here everywhere and smoke their cigarettes) and shit. At least in Bali it's not a problem finding a western toilet unless you're in some village or a forest. Or just crap in a rice paddy like the farmers do.

Here, there are a lot of cigarette brands with cloves. Smells nice while you get cancer.
