Re: /dev/null
oh BTW just did a good strip down, blew the fluff out the fans and new thermal compound (coolermaster in case you were wondering) and it's back to how I expect.
Watching a youtube vid, updating a VM in oracle and my set of tabs open and it's barely above 50C :D Good advice chaps!

Excellent - the infrastructure guy is using a template with my (debjoe and gutterslob mashup) tmux conf :D

I sort of know the feeling, it happened with my Emacs tweaks. And yes, pride is a dangerously beautiful thing.

Re: /dev/null
It's actually kind of funny how often I see those tmux window-status-format "tabs" these days on scrots from various forums/reddits. I guess back when I frst made it there wasn't much variety (only alternative, iirc, was the powerline style employed by tmuxinator and others). Nobody seems to know where it started. ;-D
Edit:
Turns out its very first appearance on the interwebz is still up. Go to the terms/tmux section on dotshare.it and sort by date. You'll see MuxT v.1 dated June 22, 2012 (damn) listed. I think crshd borrowed that idea for his own config that was posted directly after, and him being active in the Arch Linux forums back then probably helped propagate that style.
No, I have no pride whatsoever. I also have no shame. :-P

Re: /dev/null
nice!
Our infra guy doesn't care for it all, just happened to be on the machine he cloned to make a base template :D
the base config is just balls. the ctrl- cursor left and right is ace, on my master session have the line on top and I took of the numbers so all the other tmux sessions fit on one full screen terminal, then use c-← and → to move, or the window list key combo.
Then I have the other one on the bottom, for machines in a cluster.
looks like this basically at the bottom:

^ nice ride :D
yeah there's already a high bar to entry. Quite hard for me to get a picture where it's not full of customer stuff.

Re: /dev/null
It is an entry level quality hard tail I bought used for only 280 Euros. It is old, maybe 11 or 12 years but it is fantastic and I bought it in mint condition. Of course it is already full of mud. The weather here is giving me a hard time. :)
But I was also lucky on some days. I would like to show you the mountains but it was too dark and rainy as fuck to have some quality photos off the phone.

Re: /dev/null
buying decent stuff used, usually works out well.
What's that stuff (oil seed rape here, colza in French) called in German?
our twins are nearly old enough to come on rides with us... crazy right? we got them some half decent mini bikes second hand.
we are lucky though - grandfather is a bike nut and has many super schwinn, marin frog and isla bikes (like, the same or more that I would ever pay for a car) that he lets us ride around on :)

Yep. Germany is full of that shit and of course the oil is very popular, too. But we are still going almost exclusively with olive and import it even ourselves directly from Spain. :D

Yeah it's all over here in the UK, even the roads and verges...
We've had the oil. Tasted like shit, like burnt fish almost. Was a fancy bottle too.

^ You're talking about rapeseed oil, right? Isn't that just another name for canola oil? Dunno. I use canola oil sometimes for making mayonnaise. The sour tangy kind. Compared to olive oil, canola oil tends to combine (wrt consistency/thickness) better with white wine vinegar, at least in my kitchen. Also decent for certain kinds of fish if you herb it up (rosemary, marjoram, etc) overnight.

IDK. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
