PS you can self host your githubs :) although git lab isn't the most user friendly experience.

^ abandoned github long ago except at work because it's too expensive for me, and no other reason.

I ran own gitlab instance a year ago, shit is heavy for my meager vpses. Would rather use gitlab on gitlab itself (since private repo is free, again no other reason).

Sold most of my books, cds and lps today. About 500€ in my pocket. Not enough probably, but it feels good with less clutter around the house.

^ Not all of them of course, but stuff like Arctic Monkeys, Liars and Neutral Milk Hotel is not my go-to music nowadays. :)

I sold all my (our) CDs in 2003 or something, while they were still worth something. Although CDs are still useful (I bought a couple of rareish ones)
then bought LP's :D kinda the wrong way around.

I have stopped buying cds and such. Went completely digital a couple of years ago. Well if some old favorite release something new, which hardly ever happens anymore (they are all dead or retired)I `ll buy the cd though. :)

I still buy music too (LPs and digital mainly), but not as frequently and compulsively as I used to do. Little time to sit properly at my stereo nowadays, so it's mostly mp3s in the office and in the car.

I also spend (way much) more on blurays.
