At least on desktop I do not know why people complain. Ublock takes care of it. ;)

The shortest, and most incompetent, government in Italy is gone for good. Who knows what will happen now.

I don't think I actually told anyone here - but I've been working (as a sysadmin) at our home in France. It's been going really well, apart from the telecoms people out here do not really seem to want to take my money or do their job, we haven't yet had a line setup yet and it's been like 2 months (French holidays did not help). luckily the neighbours are awesome and I can use their wifi to work in our property (just) I sort of resent having to pay for a years internet and only use it for 1 month tops.
I could run a server all year there I suppose - but I'd rather the electricity was turned of tbh (I wired up the house :D)
anyway it's been wonderful - working on the house/garden and getting back on the turntables (I just cleaned up and fixed a few ground buzzing issue) that's what I've been up to.

Happily they are the only ones with internet in a 1km radius, at a guess ( we aren't super remote - all the other neighbours are too old for the internet) so yeah they are cool AF. It's only their kids using it really and they aren't there half the time.

Sounds wonderful Wux. Enjoy the stay.

Unfortunately I am working, the consequence of self-employment. :D No big vacations for me but we had a nice stay in Prague in June. It was great and the beer there is also fantastic.

This is just a little demonstration. Every day I was drinking one more.
