Weekend, finally. Worn out though. And with all the present day crap going on I doubt I will leave the house. Maybe a short excursion to the small supermarket on the other side of the road. Forgot to buy grapes yesterday and I have been craving for grapes lately.

And you? Plans?

Beside studying nothing much to be honest. Groceries probably, and I long for a pint or two at the (sort of) pub not too far from here, but it will have to be before 6pm, otherwise I'll catch it closed.

No plans. I already had my run and everything here is closed, so no bars, no beer.
It will be the usual weekend with shows and movies and when I have time reading.
A friend of mine gave me the complete X Files, so we are pretty covered.

At this point, as an old retired guy staying home during the pandemic, I need to check the calendar before I know if it's the weekend. I do have an appointment at the veterinarian with my 18-year-old feral cat tomorrow, so that should be interesting (I have to sedate him just to get him in a carrier, and I have to sneak up on him while he's sleeping to give him the drugs).

^ Pid, cover interior of carrier with space wallpaper and put a synth in it. I've heard it works wonders; https://www.catsonsynthesizersinspace.com/

got an exciting plan of feeding children an elaborate breakfast, recycling all the booze bottles, then maybe a big lunch. some sort of walk around the fields - watching out for hunters..
Then doing an ass ton of paperwork. while the kids are on their screens. then some supper, bottle of vino and some movie on the home cinema :D
Probably the same tomorrow. I have a lot of manual digging (different to Manuel digging) to level the space for a parking pad instead of the mud and grass currently there. have to clear out our garage too, and get some concrete in there too, at the same time ideally. Then the farmer can dump a load of wood there, for our winter heating. not too cold yet, had a frost. usually gets colder past xmas. and then either the car or caravan can go in there.
Need to finish the kitchen a bit more just the bottom plinth things to figure out and attach. some plaster board and tape here and there. then paint.

need to fix my turntable too, the tone arm wire had gone on the right deck. ebay to the rescue with replacement wires and RCA leads. Got some replacement LED lights for the pop-ups to add, had them ages oh and some replacement screws for all the ones i've lost. this was an original deck I got in 1998 or something. So yeah a few things on !

Wow, that was a few things! ;) Saturday morning, coffee, laptop, and a visit to my favorite bbq. Could life be any better? Yeah, well probably, at the least in some aspects. :D As usual there will be a lot of streamed TV, food, tacos today, very simple with just what we want me and the boss. Tomorrow there will be pork roast. I have found out that the pork roast that they sell at the supermarket which comes ready spiced in a steak bag, just to put in the oven is really good. No preparation, no work. :) I have to cut it when it is finished of course. :D

Yesterday afternoon I sat in the armchair listening to some music from youtube and fell asleep, I do not know for how long I were sitting there with my head rolling, but it gave me a stiff neck. Very uncomfortable. The good thing though is that I recuperated some strength to watch a bunch of Blacklist episodes later yesterday evening. :)

heh, nice. I ended up finishing the floor a bit upstairs, which wasn't even on the list need to get some vermiculite and cement to make a lightweight mix to fill the hole/gap around the chimney. not supposed to have wood anywhere near it. even it's been fine for 10 years.
Did the paperwork (or my part anyway)
roast is planned for tomorrow now :) didn't end up with enough takers we're having pork too. I seem to keep fucking up the cooking. i like it juicy but not pink. last few times it's looked good. but was quite raw. might go the other way and leave the fucker in all morning and have it pulled :D
fell asleep in the armchair :D wish I had less kids for one - been a while.
