^ Oh yes. I just fixed a small script I use to backup the school server here.

Oh man, rsync is my homeboy! I absolutely love it. A quick 'rsync -a /home/drchroot/audio/* /media/usb/Music' updates my music backup with all of the tunes I've downloaded with mps recently. I also use it to push updates to my experimental website; it's such a dynamic, dank tool.

rsync is a jewel.
The one that for some reason I missed is 'apt-file' search its bloat but after using something similar in Slackware for missing dependencies. Can just google for missing files but... nice to have options.

yeah apt-file is nice. rsync, indeed, still need to use. will get to it when i get tired of manual backups :D
